MID JAVA TRIP

First Holiday in 2023 with My Classmate  

   2nd January 2023, me and Salma's family have a plan to spend our holiday in Yogyakarta city. Me and her are classmate, we meet at first day in our school. We an said that me and her family are close enough so yea:) There are Salma's father, Salma's mother, and Salma's sister, Salma and me. 1 day before our trip we have prepare our stuff in the bag then we make a deal to arrived in Bandung Station at 6 o'clock and leave at 7 o'clock. 

   We bought some roti O, banana roll, and peyeum bolen for a snack, they are all my favorite yum! We use train for our trip it spend 8 hours by sat and looking for rice field view outside the window. Not only rice field, we have seen many things like village, clothesline, sheep farm, river, and valley. We start bored then take many picture and selfie, sleep, go to the train restaurant, rest room, another carriage, at least we do train tour while the trip. 

   At 3pm we have arrived in Tugu Station then driven by the driver to Aveta Hotel in Malioboro street it is new hotel beside Malioboro Mall. The hotel has 8 floor and we are check in in the lobby at the tallest floor. We keep our bag stuff in hotel room, the room was very comfortable. My favorite part is the balcony, cause we can see Malioboro Street and their traditional wagon. You just need 5 steps to go to the mall, but i never go there while in Yogya lol. Cause i have no idea what should i do then. We stayed at Aveta Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. Such a very strategic location.

 After that, we continue to Gudeg Sagan restaurant cause we haven't get lunch yet. Gudeg is famous traditional javanese dish from Yogyakarta. It made from young unripe jackfruit that stewed for several hours with palm sugar and coconut milk. They said Gudeg Sagan is one of the popular Gudeg restaurant in this city. It's taste little bit spicy but not that spicy, more sweet and salty. 

 Moreover we go to Tebing Breksi at night. We hire a photographer service to take our picture and its spend 4 hour LOL. Some times later the wheater is rainny and we must back to our hotel immediately cause it's already night and we have tired after so long day. 

   Next day in the morning at 7am we go to the 8th floor to go to the restaurat and give the ticket to hotel clerk for breakfast. There are so many menu like fried rice, honey chicken, baked chicken, sausage, omelette, maccaroni soup, porridge chicken, sweet porridge, capcay, fried noodle, chicken tomyum, chicken noodle, gudeg, fried tempe, krecek, meatball soup, manggo juice,  guava juice, chocolate milk, cereal and others. It's like breakfast menu in general.

   After breakfast, we go back to our room to get ready to go again for next trip. We go shopping to Rumah Batik by car for bought some souvenirs and continued to Bakpia 25 shop to ordered 1 pax of bakpia. In the afternoon we go to Merapi Lava Tour and use a jeep car for the trip. Cobbled streets make me hold on tightly to the car and muddy roads make our clothes wet, but we have fun for this trip and i guess this is will unforgettable. 

   Next when it's already evening we go to looking for restaurant and the driver suggested Kopi Klotok in Sleman. When we arrived, the parking area are crowded, many vehicles from out of town. The restaurant has beautiful rice field view and for the menu they just served omelette but the shape is big circle and some kind of tamarind vegetable soup? idk what is that actually but the soup countains long bean, tofu, young jackfruit and other ingredients. For the snack they just served fried banana, but the menus cannot be takeaway anymore. So culinery in Kopi Klotok is a uniqe experience for me. When its already night we go back to our hotel room to take a rest and get pray magrib and isya then we go to sleep. Cause our hotel in Malioboro streest the access to go to hotel at night is hard, we need to turn around and find another way to go to the hotel.

   The 3rd day is coming up, we start a day with breakfast at hotel then we go to Prambanan temple in Sleman by car. Prambanan temple is famous temple which was built by Rakai Pikatan in the days of the Mataram kingdom. Next we go to Queen Boko temple by travel, in Queen Boko temple we just take a picture for 1 hour. The place is very hot and makes me to bring my umbrella cause the weather is sunny.

   After spend time in the temple. me and Salma's family go to Baleroso restaurant for lunch. The place has rice field view and so windy. After lunch, we go to Tempo Gelato which served many tastes of ice cream, the gelato is so delicious and creamy i like it so much! the one of their green tea gelato are my favorite, i want go back to their ice cream shop sometimes:D. When the night comes on, we go back to our hotel room for take a rest and packing our stuff cause sadly tomorrow we need to go back to Bandung City by train. 

   The last day, me and Salma's family waking up and prepare our stuff then keep in car garage. At 11am we go to the lobby and check out the hotel then go to Tugu Station and waiting for the train which will arrived at 12.20pm. We spend 8 hours in the train and arrived at 8 o'clock at night. Then my dad and my mom pick me up at the station to go home.
